A very carefully designed tooth pattern helps create a smooth chain pick up especially on installations with bad chain line. These are compatible with the new Shimano 12 speed chain as well as KMC and SRAM Eagle chains. Because of the narrower tooth pattern, we recommend that Pro rings are only used on 10,11 and 12 speed chain. Lower speed bikes will have better chain retention with the classic Bling Ring.
The 40T ring also features an external chain guide ring to give another level of chain retention and protect your pants from engaging the chain.
The Bling Ring 40T is the smallest tooth count chainring that maintains the original or better offset on the Bafang BBS motors.
To be able to run a 40T you must run the Lekkie Drivecover so these are sold as a package that includes the 40T Bling Ring Pro ring, 2mm Bling Ring Spacer and Drivecover.

Note: The PRO Ring’s have more offset than other Bling Rings so extra spacers may be required to clear wider chain-stays.
